The Black Swan

Marlee Resources is named after the Marlee, meaning “swan” in Noongar. The black swan is a significant figure in Noongar storytelling, symbolising mateship.

Marlee Resources seeks to uphold the values of the black swan, in mateship, teamwork, and coming together to help each other out.

Our Zero-Harm Philosophy

We believe that the company’s most valuable asset is our people.

Marlee Resources has developed a zero-harm philosophy that we operate under at work and at home to protect the safety of our people, our clients, and the environment in which we operate. Our vision includes:

  • Zero Injuries
  • Zero Fatalities
  • Zero Negative Environmental Impact
  • Zero Tolerance Towards Unsafe Behaviour
  • Zero Plant and Equipment Incidents

We use Safe Work procedures to ensure our team is working safely, and Quality Management systems to manage our environmental footprint. We are constantly assessing, reviewing, and testing our policies and procedures to ensure we are always meeting our philosophy.
